Our crews remove your existing flooring, prep the subfloor (sweeping, scraping, patching, leveling, moisture testing), and install your new floors. We keep the job site as clean as possible throughout the process and do a thorough cleanup when finished.

After installation, your salesperson follows up to confirm everything meets your expectations. If anything isn’t right, we come back to make it right. Your floors are backed by a 1-year workmanship warranty plus the manufacturer’s product warranty.

Clear the Work Area
Remove or empty furniture in the installation area. If you’ve opted for Floor Craft to move furniture, make sure it’s reasonably emptied first. Specialty items like grand pianos and pool tables need to be handled by outside movers before we arrive.

Handle Plumbing Disconnections
Floor Craft team will disconnect plumbing but customers need to contact a licensed plumber to reinstall any appliances with water or gas lines - toilets, dishwashers, washing machines, and similar fixtures. Floor Craft does not reconnect these.

Protect Your Belongings
Clear low-hanging curtains, electronic devices and cords, and anything fragile from the work area. There will be noise, dust, and activity throughout the installation.

Plan for Kids and Pets
Keep children and pets away from the installation area for their safety and to help the process go smoothly.

Ensure Access
Make sure installers can get in. If you won’t be home, coordinate entry details (door codes, garage codes, gate access) with your salesperson. Provide parking for 1–2 vehicles and space in the garage or driveway for cutting and staging materials.
