Welcome to Floor Craft and Remnant World - Serving Colorado Springs, Pueblo & Denver
With
a solid reputation for quality products and services, Floor Craft is the
oldest floor-covering store in Colorado Springs.
Established in 1942, Floor Craft was originally named S&H Linoleum
after its owners, Lawrence Strauch and George Hendrickson. In 1953,
Strauch bought out his partner’s share of the business and renamed the
company Floor Craft.
A second generation of family ownership emerged in 1977 when Robert
Strauch bought the company from his father. Upon his retirement in 1998,
the store was passed on to his two sons, Larry and Mark.
Floor Craft currently employs 13 full-time employees and 24
subcontractors. Employee longevity is credited with contributing to the
company’s 150 years of combined product knowledge and installation
experience. One employee hired by the original owner has been with the
company for more than a quarter of a century.
With more than half a century under its belt, Floor Craft will
expand as the store continues to grow in size and in its commitment to
quality. In this family, the company is viewed as more than just a
business—it is considered a valuable heirloom passed down from
generation to generation.
